From the internet meme vault, “Leprechaun in Mobile, Alabama” is sure to be just the right kick-off to your St. Patties festivities. A staff favourite, @d1337 (as well as others in the @memelabs office) perform the impersonation very well. In fact, “Where da gold at?” was our unofficial slogan during the Vancouver, Olympics.

What a sweep! Recently at the Georgie Awards, ParkLane was recognized for their work, taking home five awards. A further congratulations to Braun Allison for spearheading The BLOCK’s marketing initiative, which won 2009 Marketing Campaign of the Year, a campaign that memelabs was a part of as host of The BLOCK’s photo contest.

Big brands are increasingly eyeing user generated content coming from video contests and with the succcess Doritos has enjoyed, it’s easy to see why.

Friends since elementary school, it’s said that OK Go got their name from their art teacher who used to start their drawing sessions with, “OK… Go!” Anyone who has viewed their latest video, This Too Shall Pass, is likely to agree that their creativity has evidently jumped mediums, from paper to video. A far stretch from the partying, girls, bling, smoke machines and strobe lights, OK Go has consistently crafted creative music videos worth watching.
